Come for an unforgettable experience where we create your stunning maternity portraits together in exactly the style you would like them. This is your moment!
Maternity portraits are best captured between 29 and 35 weeks. But the planning starts much earlier than this. In order to secure a slot, I would recommend you contact me after your 20-week scan. We can then pencil you into the diary and start chatting about your session and how you would like your shoot maternity photography session.
My maternity sessions are tailored specifically to you and the style of portraits you would like. The process starts as soon as your booking date has been confirmed. We will then start planning your shoot together. This starts with an pre-session consultation over the phone where we chat about styling options as well as your shoot. I will continue to work closely with you to ensure that your idea and expectations are met during your shoot.
Fret not if. you have nothing to wear, as the studio is full of maternity gown, form fitting dresses, robes, body, silk drapes, necklaces and other props…. anything you need to create your beautiful maternity portraits. All outfits are free to use during your session. You simply just have to pick your favourite.
Your maternity portrait session includes one hour professional hair and makeup. The makeup artist will be at the studio when you arrive, so all you have to do is tell her how you would like your look. She can do everything from neutral to glam! Remember it is your session, so you pick your look. Just lean back and watch the magic happen.
The goal of your maternity session is to create a series of beautiful maternity portraits. Doing this process you will feel confident, beautiful and empowered as you will get professional guidance in everything from styling to posing. All you have to do is relax whilst we help you create your portraits in exactly the style you have chosen.
There is no time limit to your session. We are done when I feel we have enough shots to create a stunning series of portraits for you. This means the whole thing is very relaxed and without the pressure of time running out. we chat, we laugh, we pose, we shoot and repeat. It is seriously as much fun for me as it is for you.
Professional photo retouching is included in your session. In fact the editing process takers much longer than the portrait session itself. The process of retouching is very comprehensive and detailed. Whilst editing does not change the way you look, it is when the magic happens. Of course you are welcome to let me know any personal editing requests before the retouching begins.
You have two options for your maternity portrait package
If you are bringing children and other family members, you may want t0 treat it as a family session. This means you pay a session fee of $299. Based on a final gallery of 20 fully edited images, you will chose which ones you would like to purchase as per my pricelist (click here) during an in person viewing and ordering session.
If it is just you and perhaps your partner, this option may be suitable for you.
This option includes pre-session consultation, planning and preparation, maternity outfits, session and 10 high resolution fully edited digital images chosen by Theresa.

Your session starts by having your hair and makeup was done by my professional hair and makeup artist. We will then create your beautiful portraits in exactly the style you would like. Of course you will receive professional guidance in posing through your session.
Two weeks after your session, you will be invited back to my studio for your reveal session, to see your final gallery of 20 beautiful images.
Two weeks after your session you will receive your images via a direct download or come back to the studio for your viewing and ordering session if you have opted for option 1 in your package choices.
